BACK TO THE TOP MAP & DIRECTIONS   Local Directions The Cavern Quarter is a pedestrianised area situated on the edge of the main shopping streets where they meet the commercial area of the City Centre. The Cavern Club is located on the right hand side of Mathew Street twenty yards down from its junction with North John Street. Almost opposite the Cavern Club is the Cavern Pub with its impressive Wall of Fame and the John Lennon Statue. Opposite the doorway of the Club is the monument created by Arthur Dooley which was the city's first public work of art dedicated to The Beatles. Please note that vehicular access is restricted and on-street parking in Mathew Street is prohibited. The small car park next door to The Cavern Club is privately owned and must NOT be used. Throughout the day there is on-street parking in Lord Street, Cook Street, North John Street and Victoria Street.
