Making the Memorial Plaques for the Steps - September 2005

 As you can imagine this project took up quite a lot of time! Not just in designing the plaques, choosing the wording & finding a manufacturer who could produce the plaques to our exacting specifications.

 There was also the time to actually make the Memorial Plaque mounts.

 Then it was time to fit then to the Steps ready for September 16th! We only just made it too! The photos below are thumb-nails. Click any to view a larger version.

 The Images above left & top are the plans which had to be calculated to the nearest milimetre so that the Memorial Plaques looked 'balanced'.
