MARC BOLAN'S ROCK SHRINE :: 23rd FEBRUARY, 2012

We were contacted by fan Maria who was upset to discover on a visit to Marc's Shrine that someone had ripped off a lot of the messages from the Tree and they were lying around the ground with muddy footprints all over. She spent around 90 minutes at the site tidying up, for which we are very grateful. For the second time in as many years one of the black slats from around the tree had been ripped off. Don't worry. We will be visiting very soon to put it back on and will be measuring up for coach bolts as it seems that screwing the slats in place isn't enough to stop the person(s) determined to cause harm. We have a jolly good idea who it was and beleive it to be the same name as was given to John Willans in relation to the Shrine Vandalism which has been going on since 2009. Maria took some photos of the site when she had finished tidying it and you can view them below, along with three other photos of the shrine sent in recently, through taken in 2011
