We visited Marc's Shrine again and below are a photo gallery from our visit on the 7th October. We hope you enjoy seeing them, especially people who left tributes at The Shrine in September. The photos do show the effect of slugs and snails on paper and card tributes left which aren't laminated. A video will follow as soon as we have time to edit it :-)
One of the most important reasons we visit the Shrine as often as we can is to make sure it is clean, tidy, polished and also to keep a record of tributes as they fade, get eaten and sadly some also go 'missing'.
TAG can assure everyone that we never remove tributes except when the paper is so faded/washed out/bleached/eaten by bugs that it cannot be read at all. The same is true of flowers. They are left until they are dead, and faded and have deteriorated to the point they are detremental to the look of the site. We have no idea why some tributes remain for year-on-year and others go missing in days!
