MARC'S ROCK SHRINE: TEARING THE HEART OUT OF THE BOLAN TREE

Damage to the Bolan Tree, & Work done to keep the site looking as it should. The heart of the Bolan Tree has been ripped out and much of it was put in the Box you can see in one of the photos. For up to date info search for MARC BOLAN'S SHRINE on Face Book and 'Like' our page.



The Rope is used to show how the hole goes straight through the Bolan Tree. The swan is for scale.








The big pieces from the Bolan Tree were put in the yellow box which also contained the empty can people previously had used to graffiti the tree

Here one of the slats has been broken off as the people used the top of the Wooden slats and metal caliper to climb the tree.

After TAG members had cleaned them as much as possible.


Cleaning off the graffiti from the Bolan Tree. People had climed the tree to not only do this (look at the height) they had also tied 'tributes' to the tree at the same height. These have already been removed as they will simply encourage others to do the same.

As many people know, we do not receive any funding from any organisation, club, group, or company who make money from the name "Marc Bolan". We rely on DONATIONS. Although almost all the MARC BOLAN ROSE BUSHES have been sold, TAG thought it only appropriate to donate Rose Bushes to deserving people such as Marc's Brother Harry Feld. TAG paid for these and for the £6.95 fo each delivery as we could hardly as for money!!! Therefore as we have not sold Fund-Raisers in significant numbers since last December and used that money to fund the final part of the Marc Bolan Rose organisation and deliveries etc ...
WE URGENTLY NEED MONEY TO PAY THE TREE SURGEON & THE OTHER WORK WHICH IS NEEDED OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF MONTHS.

You can choose how much you wish to donate. Pay Pal takes a fee of 20p plus 3.4%. Therefore if you donate a Pound we will receive 76p. But then for each Pound over that we receive over 96p out of each Pound.
