The work not only included the usual clean, tidy and polish or the Bronze, The Memory Board and the PRS Memorial, it also included topping up the steps, top and bottom platforms with 'Play Bark' which is more expensive, but superior to 'bark chippings'. We also added new chippings around the PRS. We decided to 'ring the changes' by using 'Pink Staffordshire Pebbles' rather than the 'purple slate' we used last time.
One thing we did find was another cremation had been scattered on the earth just in front of the Bronze which can be seen in two photographs. At least this one wasn't tipped over the Bronze itself so that when it rained the ash became a caustic, corrosive 'cement' which was extremely hard to remove.
