REVIEW BY FEE
The venue was a fabulous marquee with wooden parquet dance floor, carpets, large table cloth covered tables
and gold/black velvet seating. There were four artists on the bill. Directly before T-Rex was 'The Paul James Band'
who played some good music, though not previously heard by most of the audience I think. Then on came T-Rex! Alan Stilson
couldn't make it due to illness but we were treated to some *serious* guitar playing by Saxon founder Graham Oliver. He's
settled into T-Rex well and is a credit to them and to Marc's Music! Rob sounded as much like Marc as ever and it was nice
to see and hear Marc's music played with so much energy and enthusiasm. The audience picked up on the energy and the dance
floor was full all through their performance! It's clear that Graham is really getting into the Bolan guitar style and
the performance was so much like seeing T.Rex *live* in their heyday that the evening was totally enjoyable. Thanks Guys.
