NEW DVD RELEASE DELAYED WHILE WE ADD MORE GOODIES!
MARC BOLAN & T-REX - TV SPECIALS VOLUME 2
Originally, this was scheduled to be released as a two hour DVD with Two Documentaries.
But then we remembered something which should be included on the DVD, so the release has been postponed while we increase the running length of this DVD from almost two hours to Three Hours, using the latest 'Duel-Layer Technology'.
Therefore this DVD will now feature :-
1) One Hour Documentary, (less adverts which have been removed). Produced by The OMBFC when it was run by John & Shan Bramley. Broadcast on the UK TV Channel 'Channel Four' a while after Marc's 10th Anniversary in 1987. As no one had made a Programme about Marc John and Shan set out to make one, determined to sell it & get Marc on TV. The 'shoe-string' budget meant that the Documentary were narrated by John Bramley.
2) One Hour Documentary, (less adverts which have been removed). Produced by John & Shan Bramley. Broadcast on the UK TV Channel 'Channel Four' for Marc's 15th Anniversary in 1992.
3) Plus the First Marc Bolan Video which was released on Beta-Max (luckily we got a copy when it first came out and it is currently being converted). This Video was narrated by Bolan Fan Adam Ant , who offered his services free-of-charge!
There is some Terrific Interview footage of June, something which was missing from later programmes. When asked how much June wanted to be interviewed her reply was "well my daughter needs a new riding hat so buy her one and that'll be fine".
The Original Recordings for the two Channel Four Documentaries were supplied to TAG by Club Member Ruth who wanted a DVD Version of her own tape before it degraded and also wanted to share these recordings which many fans won't have seen.
