It is a pleasure to include this report & photos from Billy & Barbara.
We started out quite early until the awful dread of realising Chelsea were playing at home! Sat in traffic for 11/2 hours!
When we arrived at Tree Site we found tall yellow fencing all along the road side. We have included some pictures of it.
Barbara and I got down to tidying up the site and found, as I often do, empty gas cans?
Barbara did some weeding and we left the site as tidy as possible.
As usual I played my songs.
All the flowers and daffodils have come up and it looks really lovely there. We have taken some pictures of that also. Hope you enjoy them.
The weather was really lovely and as usual as I sat on the platform and the barrier to play I get the same peaceful feeling as always.
We talk about lots of things on the Club Members Forums, but really it's all about the Tree Site and what Kev and Fee have done for people like me to make my visit there comfortable and with beautiful surroundings.
For me it is and always will be about the Tree Site and the Peace I and many people who have visited still get to this day. Each visit I make, and there have been many, always feels the same.
Now that it has been included in the England Rocks official guide I hope and am sure many more people will visit the site and feel as we all do.
It was lovely to have Barbara there to help me as I often walk about with my black bag on my own. She is now a great fan of Marc's work and loves to hear me play the songs I do. We had a lovely day and hope and are looking forward to seeing you all in September.
Keep a little Marc in your heart.
