We were contacted by fan Maria who was upset to discover on a visit to Marc's Shrine that someone had ripped off a lot of the messages from the Tree and they were lying around the ground with muddy footprints all over. She spent around 90 minutes at the site tidying up, for which we are very grateful. For the second time in as many years one of the black slats from around the tree had been ripped off. Don't worry. Maria took some photos of the site when she had finished tidying the site which can be viewed HERE. We visited on the 8th March to put things right! We also measured up for coach bolts as it seems that screwing the slats in place isn't enough to stop the person(s) determined to cause harm. We have a jolly good idea who it was and believe it to be the same name as was given to John Willans in relation to the Shrine Vandalism which has been going on since 2009.
