MEMORIAL PLAQUES - HARRY FELD'S APPROVAL :-)  We wrote to Marc's older brother about the plaques and I'm please to say that Harry phoned me a few evenings ago. It was lovely to speak to Harry again after seeing him and his wife Sandy at the Born to Boogie DVD VIP Screening & Party. In relation to the plaques, Harry said that he certainly had no objection to TAG putting Memorial Plaques on the Steps for the four members of T-Rex who have passed over or for June. For me personally, this means a lot because we do take the family's wishes seriously. Harry thanked us for caring for the site and for doing what we do and again said how much he liked the Bronze Bust of his brother at the site. I know that at the Unveiling Reception Jean the sculptor was so pleased to hear Harry say what a good likeness the Bronze was to him personally. Laser Love, Fee

MARC'S HAND WRITTEN POETRY & STORIES  As Promised:- The First Twenty sheets of Marc's written Poetry have been added to the 'Members Resource Centre'. They have all been scanned at 300 dpi so they can be Saved & Printed as 'Life Size' High Quality sheets for your own Collection. The Keith connection? The CD Booklet Cover (see left) and sixteenth page of the booklet use photographs taken by Keith Morris of Tookie! More info It's quite fitting that as Keith photographed a number of Underground/Festival Legends that his photos should end up in the Festival Press!

	NEW  Fee's Review of the "T-REX - CHILDREN OF THE REVOLUTION - An Introduction to Marc Bolan" Double CD compiled by 'The Blow Monkeys' Dr. Robert. Read the review Here. Many Thanks to Demon for the review copies :-).
	NEW Photos from The Tree Site taken on Thursday 14th June 2005. Includes photos of the work done, including the graffiti removal needed to keep the site looking as it should - a Suitable Memorial Site for Marc Bolan.
	MEMORIAL PLAQUES UPDATE  We visited the site on the 14th & have taken the exact measurements of the top two steps. As soon as we have calculated the Memorial Plaque sizes we will update the web site with the details & a 'mock-up' image showing the plaques in place. The top step will be for original band members; the next steps down will be for later band members. Therefore on the top step will be equally sized Memorial plaques for Steve Took, Mickey Finn, Steve Currie, & June. Dino's Memorial plaque will be on the 'later band members step'. The plaques on the second step will by necessity smaller than those on the top step because of course there are more people who will be eligible for inclusion there (in time). When the size of these plaques is calculated that will be taken into account & although only Dino's will be placed on the second step in September those Memorial Plaques which will be placed there subsequently will be the same size as his.
	UPDATED The MARC BOLAN BIOGRAPHY Section has been expanded to include the reviews of DVD's & the new CD Review (see above) which weren't listed, other than in these news entries.
	UPDATED The LETTERS TO TAG page has been updated with quite a few new letters and some photos sent to us by fans. The 'Letters' Page is part of the TAG INFORMATION Section. Fan photos include those of Marion who has her own Photo Page Here
	NEW SCANS Added to 'Fee - A Bolanic History' "The Electric Warrior Casts his Net" An interesting review of Marc Bolan Web Sites written when the Internet was still in it's infancy. Of course at that time TAG didn't exist & so neither did this Web Site. But Fee's own Web Site was very much 'up & running'. As the reviewer says: - "Personally this is the first place I go when I log on" ... "Her tremendous love of Marc just shines out in all her writing". Read it Here.

NEW LIVE 8 VIDEO 'Sir Elton John' & Pete (Babyshambles) Doherty's 'performance' of Children of the Revolution' at the Live8 Concert in Hyde Park, London on 2nd July. This performance (if you can call it a 'performance') was slatted as the worst performance of the entire concert by the media! You may have read about it, but not actually seen it. So here it is!

	MEMORIAL PLAQUE FOR JUNE We have been contacted by a number of people suggesting that we should include a Memorial Plaque for June. "Good Idea "we thought. Yes she was hugely important & can be considered a 'Band Member'. While we were considering this I were contacted by June's Daughter Ilona. She mailed me to tell me that my Memories of meeting June was "lovely to read" ... "really wanted to complement you on the "meeting June" article. It so lovely to read & you described her so well." That was a delightful surprise. It allowed me the opportunity to ask Ilona what she thought of a plaque for her Mum. Ilona's reply is totally in line with my thoughts :-) "Your thought of a plaque I think would be fantastic. MASSIVE 'TANX' TONY V! :-) Due to an *oversight* we were not sent the review copy of the Born to Boogie DVD & CD Set we'd been promised.   Tony V (bless his heart) sent me a pair of his own copies which arrived yesterday with personalised messages. Wow! Now, that's what I call Sweet! So everyone has had a head start on us as far as watching the Born to Boogie DVD Set! We watched them last night. :-)  WHERE ARE THE EASTER EGGS? We've been asked by quite a few people including Steve in Australia, Paula, John & Cat in the UK, how to find the Easter Eggs. Until now we haven't been able to tell you, so accept our apologies! WITH DEEPEST REGRET As you'll have seen on the opening page, on June 17th Official Born to Boogie photographer Keith Morris was on a dive to a submarine wreck, 20 miles from Guernsey. He failed to re-surface. Despite a search he has not been found & is feared dead. For so many reasons Keith is soley missed & we pray for a miracle that he still is found. 	NICE ONE! :-) Checking the 'Visitor Stats' for the TAG site we found we were getting links from :: SIMON NAPIER BELL'S OWN WEB SITE. If you follow the link you'll see that he's got a link to David's TYRANNOSAURUS REX ESSAY - part of our site. So Well Done David. Getting a 'Thumbs Up' from a man who knew Marc & Steve & chose your essay as 'The One' to link to! Many Thanks to Simon too!
	EVERYWHERE!! It seems that everywhere I go at the moment Marc Bolan Music follows me! Supermarkets & now in a live act form! We went out to the 'Real Music Club' in Brighton run by 'Judge Trev' (former Steve Took's Horns Guitarist) on Sunday night. One of the acts - 'The Acousticats' played two numbers 'One Inch Rock' & 'Ride a White Swan'. Naturally I borrowed a tamborine & joined in as did 'Captain Stupid'. Sadly 'Captain Sensible' couldn't make it - though he often does & had been known to play with his mate 'Captain Stupid' as well as 'Judge Trev' Check out the Acousticats singer  Kev Ellis's Homepage. If he successfully recorded the performance on Sunday he will be putting up a song or two - maybe even one of Marc's! Laser Love, Fee

Marc Bolan was one of the most visually charismatic performers British pop has produced. His look & songs defined glam rock that launched the T.REXTASY phenomenon. His son, Rolan Bolan & music journalist Paul Morley join Richard & Judy to talk about the diminutive pin-up rock star that was Marc Bolan.

	BORN TO BOOGIE IT'S OUT! (In the UK & Europe) In Australia the release date is: 5th June 2005 For Japan & North America the DVD Set will be released on 7th June 2005 In Japan only, there will be a third disc in the package, which features a series of black & white photographs taken during the T.Rex Japanese tour in November 1972, arranged chronologically to tell the story of their visit: T.Rex arriving at the airport, holding a press conference, attending a special photographic display, & playing live. The soundtrack includes a rare Mickey Finn bongo solo, recorded during a break in a live performance on the tour.

	AWESOME EXPERIENCE! The VIP Preview Screening of Born to Boogie at the Curzon Cinema, Mayfair, London Last Night, Tuesday 26th April 2005. The screening of 'Born to Boogie' was preceeded by Drinks & afterwards those of us with 'White Tickets' adjuourned to a nearby club for a Party & Celebration of Marc Bolan & T-Rex & their music. 	NEWS For those of you with Sky/Cable TV & the correct 'package' Marc's film Born to Boogie gets it's TV Premier Next Friday night/Saturday early hours 15th/16th April. 'Born to Boogie' starts at 1:55am! It is followed by 'Velvet Goldmine'. Of 'Born to Boogie' Film Four say:- "(1972) Ringo Starr's documentary film features the god of glam-rock, the late Marc Bolan, with concert footage, intimate performances (some at John Lennon's home) & surreal footage reminiscent of The Beatles' Magical Mystery Tour. UPDATED  The History of The Tree - The Early Years page. Three New Newspaper Scans have been added. These were originally published in the late 1970's. One dated 1979 already calls The Tree his 'Shrine'. The other two are interviews with Marc's Parents & Gloria. Of the session Bill Orchard said: "Photographed at & around his home in Earls Court in 1977, including some shots on a skateboard! "He was the nicest man – not at all precious or arrogant as I’d assumed. After session, went for several drinks at a nearby pub, which Marc insisted on paying for. He suggested some other pictures we could do at a later date, but unfortunately it was not to be, as he died in a car crash only a couple of weeks later."

One of our current projects is focused on Marc Bolan & in particular, we have previously unseen concert footage lasting 72mins from the classic March 1972 Empire Pool Wembley concerts.
