The Auction ends today. A report to follow soon, although there are some interesting 'screen captures' from the Auction done by Club Member Eddie in the Club Members Gallery

CLUB MEMBERS UPDATES
If you're a member please go to our Club Members Site. If you're not a Member then there has never been a better time to Join for Just £3 a Year! Our Club Members Update for This Week includes Twenty Pages of Marc's Poetry & Prose; Three New Videos; Eleven New MP3's; Three Article Scans; Two New Desktop/Backgrounds, Plus New Boley Pix uploaded by our Club Members into the Members Galleries, while our Forums continue to be Lively & Friendly with Fans from around the Globe in the "House that Can Hold Just About All of You!" We say a huge "TANX" to the Club Members who have contributed to our updates this week :-)

NEW PHOTO GALLERIES
Kev spent hours last week sorting through boxes & boxes of old 'floppy discs' & the Photo Galleries below are just some of the photos dating back to the late 90's 'unearthed'. More to follow in future updates :-)

1) A Photo Gallery from the 1998 Bulb Planting at The Tree has been added to the Bulb Planting Page

2) A Photo Gallery from our March 1999 Visit to The Tree Site (before TAG was formed) has been added to The Tree in danger of Felling Page. This Photo Gallery shows cuttings being taken & also our Daughter Ellie (then aged just nine) adding her own 'Glam Touch' to the site. These photos do show up clearly the 'soil erosion', how the roots of The Tree were becoming exposed & also how muddy the site was. They also show the very poor condition of The Tree itself.

3) A Photo Gallery & Report from the Sir George Martin Record Launch at Canada House in April 1999 has been added to The Tree in danger of Felling Page, because the first photos in this Gallery were taken on the same day as the Record Launch when Mark & Kev visited The Tree Site to discuss the feasibility of the 'Steps Project'. Mark built the Steps for TAG, & this was his first 'on site look' at the job he was 'taking on'.

4) A Photo Gallery from September & October 1998 (including some lovely ones of Rolan) has been added to the Fee's Bolanic History Page.

5) A Photo Gallery of the Memorial Benches we would have liked to include as part of the Steps Project has been added to the TAG formed in May 1999 to care for & improve the site. It is a shame that this work came to nothing, but such is life!

Apart from the addition to 'Fee's Bolanic History' all the other Photo Galleries are part of the History of the Bolan Tree Section of our site.

OIL PAINTING OF THE TREE SITE
Club Member Colm's very talented Mum Phyllis (Yes the same as Marc's Mum), painted this delightful artwork of 'The Tree Site' especially for us.
Many Tanx Colm & Phyllis.

Colm's Mum's painting has been to the New Folder in the Members Galleries specifically as 'A Place for your Marc, T-Rex, & All things Bolan-Related Art' :-)

CLASSIC ROCK - DECEMBER 2006
Here's a report from one of our Club Members which you might well be interested in. "Just a line to say that this month's Classic Rock mag (December 2006), issue 100, has some freebies with it, one of them being a paperback with excerpts from rock books. Marc is in there with a few pages from the Mark Paytress biography. Marc always gets good press here. As always, nice to see. Howard"

ADAM ANT DISCO 2006
There is a Photo Gallery & video from this year's Ant Lib Disco which was a brilliant evening, or organised by Madam Stan and Caroline who were hands-on helpers with the Steps Project in 2000. Caroline also helped with the video editing of the 25th Anniversary Video so we're always happy to give Adam's Event a mention :-) And a Special "Well Done" for getting ITV there to film part of it too! The photo left is of David Mantell in his more obsure 'Adam Costume'. David is of course a very knowledgeable Bolan, Took & Ant Fan! :-) View the Photo Galley plus a Video Here

DEPARTMENT S
It's a small world! While at the Adam Ant 2006 Disco we unexpectedly bumped into our Old Friend Mick one of the original Members of Department S, Who you'll probably remember from their Hit Single 'Is Vic There?'. For anyone who doesn't know - Department S did a Cover of Solid Gold Easy Action, so there is a definite 'Bolan Connection' to this News Item! :-)
Several Photos of Mick are included in the Ant Lib Disco Gallery

NEW MARC BOLAN PLAY by LONG OVERDUE
OK, They are currently spelling Marc's name with a 'K' but that's a minor oversight. The project sound interesting: Here's a quote from their web site:
"Long Overdue are currently putting together a show based around the life and music of Mark Bolan which will include a live band playing his most popular songs, for which we need your help. We need to know YOUR favorite Mark Bolan or T-Rex tracks" Visit their web site for more info!

MARC'S FLYING V, SAILOR SUIT TOP & DUNGAREES ON ANTIQUES ROADSHOW
The Gold Lame Dungerees were sold on eBay a few days ago for the 'opening bid' of £4,200 (much less than the £8,000 to £12,000 the Antiques Roadshow valued them at!)

Read the eBay advert here.

The buyer's ID has been kept 'private'. Let's hope they show them to fans at some stage.
Kev & I were fortunate to see them & the photo right is of me with Marc's 'Flying V'.

WOW WE'VE BEEN BUSY THIS MONTH!
The Members Forum is rocking and has been keeping us both very busy, as has scanning articles sent in by post and creating Video and MP3 Files which have arrived from 'across the pond. OK, OK, from Ireland which is only a small 'pond' :-)
STONEHENGE:
In addition, Kev and I have been involved with Stonehenge more this month than usual, attending as usual the Stonehenge Round Table where we, along with English Heritage, National Trust, Wiltshire Constabulary and lots of other fine people organise the Managed Open Accesses within the Stones Four Times A Year, (the biggest being the Summer Solstice, when 20,000 to 33,000 people turn up!)
But also, in October, in case you missed it on the BBC News, Stonehenge is in the final 21 for the New 7 Wonders of the World (The Winners will be announced Live on 07-07-07. You can find out more information by visiting www.new7wonders.com. Also check out their Stonehenge Photo Gallery & Videos Too. The New 7 Wonders visit to Stonehenge was pretty 'Top Secret' and it was an Honour for Kev and I to be included on the Guest List :-) You can also visit our own Stonehenge Web Site for our own Videos of the Visit! The site will be updated tomorrow (8th November) with the Round Table Minutes for October and November, which somehow I got talked into doing in 2005!
ADAM ANT
And of course last weekend (4th November) we were in London for the Adam Ant Disco which was better than ever! Great Fun & ITV were there filming for a programme to be screened at the end of November/Early December. We'll let you know when it will be on!
THE PINK FAIRIES
As Web Mistress for Larry Wallis (www.PinkFairies.co.uk) I've also been 'tied up' working on his update announcing their gig at the Legendary Roundhouse in January. OK, this isn't 'Bolan', but then as Steve Peregrin Took was a founding member of the Pink Fairies with Mick Farren & Twink, it is sort of related. But enough digressing ...
BACK TO MARC BOLAN & TAG ...
We've had a few 'glitches' on the Members Forums, but everything seems to be running smoothly and it certianly is the best way to find out all the latest News as our Fabulous 'Club Members' share info & news of All Things Bolan'.
We have various different 'Forums' for General Bolanic News, CD, DVD, and Book Reviews as well as an 'Introductions' Section, Plus Member Personal Forums for 'getting to know each other'.
Although it's quite away-away we're already discussing and organising 'Club Member Events' including a trip to see some 'Bolan Sites' next September when 'Club Members' from around the Globe will be decending on London.
The Members Forums and Members Photo Galleries are certainly turning TAG's 'Members Club' into a Terrific 'United Bolan Family' :-)
Enjoy the updates!

SPACEBALL RICOCHET!
It often happens that the world seems to be small - either that or full of coincidences!
You may be aware of an interview with June where she recounts the story of a little boy called Anton and his new baseball boots, which Anton excitedly showed Marc calling them his "Spaceball Boots". June recalled how he had then preceeded to run across the room & ricochet off the walls.
"Spaceball Ricochet!" exclaimed Marc!
Last Wednesday after attending the 'Stonehenge Round Table Meeting' as usual in Salisbury at English Heritage's HQ, we 'ajourned' to the pub where I got chatting to a new Round Table Member Vicki who is Local Druidess of long-standing. The conversation turned to trees (via Druid Merlin's thirteen month calendar) & the 'Bolan Tree' was mentioned, as you might imagine :-).
It was then that Vicki amazed me by telling me she knows Anton and his mum! She told me the tale of Anton's "Spaceball Boots" as June recalled it and in the future I'll be arranging to meet Anton & his mum for a TAG Interview.
Stay Tuned on that one then! :-) Laser Love, Fee xxx
To watch a clip of June recounting this story Click Here. 2 Minutes 20 Seconds (2.8 meg)

FINAL CUTS CD
At last we know where Marc was going next, thanks to to the lady that kept these tapes safe over all those years we have a glimpse of Marcs plans for future T.Rex. This disc contains both Marcs lyrical exploration of his recent past in a version of Dandy in the Underworld and a statement of intent, a manifesto for the new age of Bolan in Write me a Song. We get a collection of nimble wordy rockers such as Hot George, lush balladry such as 20th Century Baby and a whole collection of glorious pop in Love & the Foxey Boy, Mellow Love and Shy Boy. T.Rex became the ultimate in power pop in 1977, Keep a Little Marc in your Heart.
