This section of the TAG site is devoted to Mickey Finn's T-Rex - Now called T.REX the music of Marc & Mickey. Having seen the band a number of times over the past couple of years they really do deserve more recognition than they are currently receiving.

Visually Ron Benson is not a 'perfect copy' of Marc Bolan. But then he doesn't claim to be! Vocally though he is as close as you're ever going to get to the sound of Marc Bolan live.

Rob Benson is firstly and foremost a Marc Bolan fan. He learnt to sing like Marc out of Love for the man. The band is continuing to play out of his love for not only Marc Bolan, but also for Mickey Finn with whom he became one of the Mickey Finn's T.Rex 'family' spanning four years!

Mickey finn was a very likable man. Quick witted and mischievous! When Fee spent the day with him and conducted an interviewed with him in September 2002, a little over three months before Mickey died he proved himself to be a very warm, genuine and intelligent human being.

It was the wish of Mickey and his family that Mickey Finn's T-Rex continue to play the music of Marc Bolan live and TAG is pleased to be able to bring you coverage of them in concert.
